New Digs

Well .....

Finally after months of looking, Big T and I have a home to call our own .

We had to put a bid in the other day on this house and we won!

Phew...I have lost so many homes in Winnipeg because the housing market is silly crazy here.

I am proud to say that this beauty is ours come Nov 30th!! Woo Hoo!!

Here is a link to our new neighbourhood...all the homes on the street are so lovely .

The street is lined with big oak and elm trees.There is the sweetest park 2 doors down that they freeze in the winter so you can skate! So I am insanely happy.

I will be back next week for the last time as the movers are coming to pack up and head out west!

I am surprised at how I am loving Winnipeg, there is so much to do and see.

The people are so incredible . I know I am in for a rude awakening in a month or so when the mercury starts heading south...and I know it will be getting terribly cold. But for now I am happy here and can not wait to get into our new digs and start renovating!

I just love how bright and cheery this dinning room is with it's soft yellow trim down the curtains and the mellow yellow on the back of the chairs!

CeCe's First day of School

Ok...must pull self together to write this blog.

Today was CeCe's first day of school.

She is attending Balmoral Hall an all girl school here in "The Peg".

She was amazing walked in no problem made her self at home...I on the other hand was a blobbering mess as soon as I got back to the car...sniff sniff!

We are residing in one of Tony's Hotels as we are yet to find a house here...incredible really!!

CeCe is thrilled about living here,water park in the evening, TV in her bedroom, coloring books at dinner, and a treasure chest of silly toys at the end of meals!

She is reminding me a little of Eloise ...but just so you all know this is not the Plaza!

Here is a picture of a house we are going to see tonight.

See that stuff around the elm tress..it is so stop some sort of grub that crawls up the trees and does horrible stuff...they all get stuck on this band around the trees..niccccceeeee really niceeeeeee and theses bands stay on till May!

Righto...Another great fact on the good old Winnie!
