Two Simple Ideas

Sometimes I just want instant happiness.

Something I could do quick that will make me happy and would make my home a little prettier.

So I came along these two pictures and I thought

I have a head cold

I would like to be curled up right here in this very toasty bed.

....and a bunch of happy peonies.....

...... and a thick wooly scarf....

....and while I am wishing ...

I think this necklace would make me feel better and the outfit!

I know this beautiful entrance with my own vitamin C trees would most certainly have me feeling better.........ahhhhhchooo!

how pretty!

It was -44 yesterday with the wind chill!

Yipes!

Oh , how I wish Spring was around the corner.....(sigh)

So I went out yesterday and bought tons of spring bulbs tulips, hyacinth,crocus etc.

All white all pretty!

It made me happy!

I think one of the best things about winter here in Canada is that the grocery stores have a ton of spring flowers and they are very reasonable.

So I am sitting here with a cup of tea all cozy ....with the smell of spring in our room!

Yellow and Winnipeg

Seriously, seriously...it is snowing again today.

Everyday it snows here ..every bloody day!

The driving is awful...Where are the salt trucks? Where are the plows?

They have a terrible snow removal.

See the chap in skis above I honestly think I could of gotten around town today just like him!

I fear by Valentines day Winnipeg is going to look like this.

Old Claw Foot Tubs

So...

I have one of these old tubs in our second bathroom.

I am excited to say we are starting the demo of the house tomorrow! Since I will not being doing anything to the second bathroom I mean gutting it...I am dreaming up ideas.
