A little peek of the New York Gift Show

I am just back from the New York Gift Show and thought I would show you a few pictures that I took of some of the trends I noticed, and a few pictures of merchandize I ordered.
It was a great show and I am excited to receive my orders...So here we go..I love the idea of the french statue inside a birdcage ...what a great piece for a foyer..or a hallway...stunning!!

Ok Lets talk lighting...sorry a few of these pictures are blurry I was snappy quickly b/c you are not allowed to take pictures...but sometimes I just could not resist...The picture above is of these fabulous massive twig lighting I think these lights would look great over dinning room table..

A trend I noticed was reclaimed wood...in furniture and in lighting...love love these massive sconces..they are reclaimed I think from wine barrels...

Well what can I say... bird house lighting had to take a snap...

Sweet little wire lights ..sort of reminded me of cloths hangers..but these beauties would be brilliant over a kitchen island

I loved this booth called Peacock Alley..I order some fabulous rugs...and cushions..Happy!

Spotted another bird house light...love it!!

The British are coming...I saw union jack everything...from curtains to cushions to portraits of the Queen...even on the quick bus ride home sat next to a lovely handsome chap from Nottingham who plays scrabble...I kid you not..So farewell Eiffel Tower and Paris... and hello crowns, queens, and red white and blue...who knew!!

I ordered some great bath products from Tokyo milk..there packaging is to die for .
Their greeting cards are the best around..this should be arriving mid march...

I took these pictures from Habitually Chic a great blog... But I am in love with John Derian and every time I go to the show I want to place an order so badly...is just he is pricey and I am not sure if St.Catharines is ready to spend $95.00 on a plate...gosh I wish you would let me know b/c if you would I will order this lickity split

Christopher Jagmin was also fabulous I love his number serious collection..I am going to bring him in...So gang start collecting his collection , this would be great in a hallway , in a kitchen , or dinning room....love love his plates....Below is a Thomas Paul Pillow...his designs are wonderful he does stationary as well...drooling over his catalogue..and will be placing an order here as well!
So much goodness....I can hardly wait for it all arrive... I will keep you posted when the shipments start arriving!
