So.....I have been checking out Altantic Pacific's blog for some time now it is my guilty pleasure.

I adore her style.

My dear sweet friend Kelly gave me theses identical pearls that she is wearing for my birthday a few years back.

I wear these pearls with everything. I love them and would just be beside myself if I lost them.

There is a faux fur scarf just like this at Joe Fresh.

I say put the computer down and dash out to get one before they are gone.

This past Monday I wore this mustard sweater from J crew...

I love it only when it is paired with grey!

Last Week I wore this mustard sweater from Joe Fresh and my scarf was from Antropolgie...and I wore it with a grey dress.

Fun in Winnipeg

So it has been a busy week.

I will start with the hockey game I was lucky enough to go to the Jets game the other night.

For those who are not Canadian. This is a big deal here in Winnipeg . As we were without a team for 16 years. Anyways, they are back....and it was wonderful to be there, and the fans where crazy loud my ears where ringing a few days later and I would not have it any other way.

It was exciting!

Our family came from Ontario for a wee visist...to say CeCe was over the moon is an understatement.

She was so incredibley happy and just adores her older cousins.

Winnipeg is great for familys. The picture above is a slide form the Childrens Muesum.

I love the colors. What fun!

We took off to the Assiniboine Park to the new duck pond park and it was fabulous.

We spent some time in Grand Forks at the Canad Inn 's water park..amazing.

What a great place to spend time with family.

Last night we where invited by my dear friend Nancy to a wonderful event to support

Seven Oaks Hospital.

It was a fun evening full of sweets and cakes and dinner!

I will miss my bird cage but it really belongs to Sweet Brenda at

Simply White in St. Catharines.

I dashed in there when I was home last and the store looked so wonderful.

I loved so much...I bought a great white bisque walnut piece container that is perfect for storing nuts and jelly beans etc.. I will show you a picture later or better yet those in Niagara should rush down and pick up one .Plus I picked up a beautiful necklace..Her jewellery is amazing.

So on my way back to Winnipeg, I picked up the September issue of

Martha Stewart's Magazine.

I went Bananas over Pilar Guzmen's kitchen.

Gosh how I wish there were more then one picture in the spread.

I am loving the subway tile in the armoire imagine..wardrobe shelving!

I am losing it...losing it!

And this kitchen just about did me in! The brass hardware, the fireplace between the perfect windows, the brass kickplate, the herringbone floor.

The cabinets are from Ikea!

Labor Day at Rushford Lake

All day the these three kiddies were doing the countdown to the Rushford Lake Fair.

As tradition I dressed Elle and CeCe in the same dresses and we took a few pictures of them at the lake. All the chitter chatter and excitement was winning goldfish ( insert eye roll). I knew there would be great disappointment for CeCe as we were heading to Winnipeg the next day. I told CeCe she would have to give her fish to Jake and Elle and we would skype visit when we got home...you all so know where this is headed!

A Fun Weekend

Last weekend I had a lovely weekend, my brother in law Sam and Erin and new baby Max came out for a visit. My best bud Kelly and her daughter Ella also popped in for a night!

It was nice to flake out at the cottage laugh, eat and get caught up on all of our silliness...and trust me their was a lot of silliness.

Sam is always so great with the girls he drew cute candy shop pictures for them to colour.

Made scavenger treasures hunts and made the best breakfasts...I highly recommend taking a Sam to a cottage if you are lucky enough to know of someone like him!

He is pretty amazing!

Erin was gracious enough to babysit for a few hours (wink wink ).

As Kelly and I tore off to the Galleria Mall...The new Anthropologie is opened ...and Kelly and I were dying to take a peek.

Erin also is so wonderful at taking pictures...these are all of hers that I have swiped off Facebook. Thanks sister!

Plus, do you see my cute cushions. ( yellow floral)

Last year Erin and I where in Target and I loved the Dwell quilt...Erin suggested I buy the quilt and she would get her friend to whip up some cushions...fast forward a year and they are beautiful...far to beautiful to leave at the cottage they will be some how tucked in my suitcase to take back to the Winnie...I am working on taking Max as well..isn't he the cutest baby..he is such a charmer!

Well, it has been a silly week...I have been in Toronto to have a little surgery.

I thought it would be a cake walk and I must tell you I am a little surprised...that it is taking me till now to really get out of bed. My mom and dad have been wonderful and I have been resting in their guest room as CeCe has been shipped off to her cousins for a few days it was true rest and relaxation. I am glad to report I am up and walking and although a tad sore I am sure I will be back to my normal self in no time. In the meantime I thought I would post a few pictures of some beautiful white bedrooms b/c nothing says calm and peaceful like a crisp white bedroom!
